Terms of Service

1.1Il Mister (the "Game"), available at ilmister.org and its subdomains, is operated by Veritor Group SRL, a company registered in Romania with the Trade Register under no. J2026033628006, unique registration code (CUI) 54746469, not registered for VAT, registered office in Bucharest, Romania ("we", "us", "our"). Contact: our support email.

1.2These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a contract between you and us. They apply when you create an account, play the Game or buy a VIP Pass. Our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal data; they are not part of this contract but you should read them.

1.3You accept these Terms by ticking the acceptance box when you register. We email you a link to the version you accepted, and you can read, print or save the current version at any time from the footer of the site. Previous versions are listed in the version history at the end of this page.

1.4The contract is concluded in English. We may provide translations; if a translation conflicts with the English text, the version that is more favourable to you as a consumer prevails.

1.5Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the EU Member State where you live.

Account

your personal registration in the Game.

Club

a football club you manage in the Game, including its squad, finances, staff, stadium, crest and history.

Game World

a persistent league environment (for example "Gamma") in which Clubs compete over seasons.

In-Game Currency

the fictional money used inside the Game (shown with the $ symbol). It is earned only by playing and cannot be bought, sold, withdrawn or exchanged for real money.

VIP Pass

a paid right to use the VIP features described in Section 5, bought either as a monthly Manager Subscription or as a prepaid Club Pass or Legacy Pass. "VIP Pass" in these Terms covers all three, and terminating a VIP Pass that is a Manager Subscription also ends the subscription.

Awards

trophies, titles, badges, rankings and in-game prize money won through play.

User Content

anything you upload or write in the Game, including club and player names, nicknames, crests, notes and community posts.

Consumer

a natural person acting for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession.

3.1You must be at least 16 years old to create an Account. The Game is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly register younger users.

3.2Buying a VIP Pass requires legal capacity to contract. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must make or approve the purchase.

3.3You must give accurate registration data, verify your email address and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity on your Account unless it results from our fault or from unauthorised access you could not reasonably prevent. Tell us promptly at our support email if you suspect misuse.

3.4One person, one Account. Accounts are personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared or traded. Managing more than one Club is allowed only through the multi-club feature of the Game, within the limits shown in the Game.

3.5You may delete your Account at any time from Account settings. Deletion ends this contract. Your Clubs are released to the Game World and managed by the computer, and your commitments in the Game (transfer listings, bids, offers) are closed. Deleting your Account also cancels any Manager Subscription, so no further payments are taken. Unused VIP time is refunded only in the cases in Sections 6, 12 and 13.3.

4.1Il Mister is a free-to-play online football management simulation. Match results are produced by our match engine from your decisions (squad, training, tactics, conditional orders, transfers, finances) and a controlled element of chance, as explained in the in-game Manual.

4.2The Game is a game of skill and entertainment. Nothing in the Game is a bet, wager, lottery or game of chance for money. You never stake real money on an outcome.

4.3Playing the full competitive Game is free. Every Club can take part in every league and cup and win every Award without buying anything.

4.4The Game World is persistent and shared with other managers. Seasons, deadlines and match days run on a schedule set by us, whether or not you are online. Your Club keeps playing when you are away, using your saved tactics or, if none, computer-selected ones.

4.5The Game is a live service in continuous development. During the whole term of this contract we may add, change or withdraw features of the Game and of VIP, including by recalibrating the match engine, the economy and player development. Section 13 explains when and how we do so, and the rights you have if a change affects a VIP Pass you have bought.

VIP is not on sale yet. The VIP checkout is not open. This Section and Section 6 describe the purchase contract and apply from the day VIP can be bought in the Game. Until then, any VIP time on your Account is free VIP under Section 5.9.

5.1What VIP is. VIP gives your Account access to additional features for as long as your VIP is active. The current list is shown on the VIP page before purchase and includes, for example: the opponent dossier and scouting views, the manager notebook, custom club crests and identity tools, player portraits and nicknames, and the ability to manage additional Clubs where available. Features may change over time as described in Section 13.

5.2Plans and prices. VIP is available as a monthly subscription or as a prepaid pass:

Veritor Group SRL is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added: the prices shown are the final prices you pay. If we become liable to charge VAT, the price shown at checkout will always be the final price including any VAT, and existing subscriptions follow Section 13.4. A month means a calendar month counted from the start of the period. The price of a Club Pass or Legacy Pass is fixed for its whole duration. The price of the Manager Subscription can change only for future months, under Section 13.4.

5.3Fair play. VIP never changes player ratings, training, match calculations, transfers, the Game economy or chance. Some VIP features present information in a more convenient or more detailed way (for example the opponent dossier); the underlying facts about opponents remain available to all managers through public match reports and league pages.

5.4The Manager Subscription.

1. Automatic renewal. The subscription renews automatically at the end of each monthly period, on the same calendar day, for another month at the price then in force. We charge the payment method you saved at the start of each new period. The checkout and your confirmation email state the renewal price, the billing date and how to cancel.
2. Cancel at any time. You can cancel with the "Cancel subscription" button in Account → VIP, which is available as long as the subscription runs, or by email to our support email. Cancelling takes two clicks and needs no reason. We confirm the cancellation by email immediately.
3. Effect of cancellation. No further payments are taken. VIP stays active until the end of the month already paid, and then ends. The month already paid is not refunded, except under Sections 6, 11.1, 12 and 13.3.
4. Failed payment. If a renewal payment fails, we tell you and retry for up to 7 days. If it still fails, the subscription ends at the end of the paid period. You never owe us anything for a month you did not pay for.
5. Deleting your Account cancels the subscription automatically.

5.5Club Pass and Legacy Pass. Each pass is paid once, in advance, and ends automatically at the end of its period. We never charge you again without a new purchase. We remind you by email and in the Game 7 days before your pass expires. If you buy a pass while you already have VIP, the new period starts when the current one ends; if you had a Manager Subscription, it is cancelled automatically so that you are not charged twice.

5.6How to buy. You choose a plan on the VIP page and review a summary: plan, period, total price, VAT, for the subscription the automatic renewal, renewal price and how to cancel, and the withdrawal information in Section 6. You confirm with a button labelled "Subscribe and pay" (Manager Subscription) or "Pay now" (passes). The contract is concluded when we confirm your order on screen. We send an order confirmation by email, including these Terms and the withdrawal form, on a durable medium.

5.7Payment. Payments are processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Limited, Ireland) using the methods shown at checkout. For the Manager Subscription, you authorise us to store your payment method with the provider and to charge it at each renewal until you cancel. We do not store your full card details. If a payment is reversed or charged back without valid reason, we may suspend the related VIP until the matter is resolved; this does not affect your statutory rights.

5.8When VIP ends. When VIP ends, VIP features stop. Your Club, squad, results and Awards stay untouched. Content created with VIP tools (such as uploaded crests) remains visible where the Game allows it. Additional Clubs that require VIP are frozen until the next season change and then return to computer management, unless you renew VIP before then; this is shown in the Game before you buy.

5.9Free and promotional VIP. We may grant VIP time for free (for example to early testers or as event rewards). Free VIP time has no cash value, is not refundable and never turns into a paid subscription without a separate purchase by you.

5.10Business buyers. If you buy as a business, tell us at checkout so that we can issue an invoice to your company; Sections 6 and 11 on consumer rights do not then apply to you.

6.114 days. If you are a Consumer, you may withdraw from the purchase of VIP within 14 days of the day the contract is concluded, without giving any reason. For the Manager Subscription, the 14 days run from your first subscription. Automatic monthly renewals continue the same contract and do not start a new withdrawal period; you can stop them at any time under Section 5.4.

6.2Immediate start. VIP starts only after the 14 days, unless at checkout you expressly ask for it to start immediately by ticking: "I want my VIP to start now. I understand that if I withdraw within 14 days, I will pay for the days already used."

6.3How to withdraw. Send us a clear statement (email to our support email, the "Withdraw from contract" button in Account → Purchases, or the model form below) before the 14 days run out. We confirm receipt by email.

6.4Refund. We refund the price within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal, using the same payment method, at no cost to you. If VIP had started at your request, we deduct only the part corresponding to the days used, calculated pro rata on the price of the period paid. Example: withdrawing on day 4 of the first month of a Manager Subscription (€3.99, 30 days) refunds €3.46.

6.5VIP features end on the day we process the withdrawal. Withdrawing from a Manager Subscription also ends it, and no further payments are taken.

7.1In-Game Currency, players, Clubs, stadiums, Awards and all other virtual items are part of the Game. You receive a personal, non-transferable right to use them within the Game while your Account exists. They are not your property, they have no monetary value and they cannot be redeemed for money.

7.2In-Game Currency cannot be bought with real money. We will not introduce paid virtual currency without first amending these Terms under Section 13 and showing every price in euro.

7.3You may not sell, buy, rent or trade Accounts, Clubs, players or In-Game Currency for real money or anything of value outside the Game, including through third-party sites.

7.4Balances and squads change through normal play and through balancing measures that apply equally to all comparable Clubs (Section 13). We do not remove or reduce virtual items of an individual Club except to reverse a technical error, an exploit or a breach of Section 9, and we tell you why.

8.1Leagues, cups and individual awards (such as player of the round or season awards) are decided only by results in the Game, using the rules published in the Manual and on the competition pages.

8.2Awards and in-game prize money exist only inside the Game. They are not money, cannot be exchanged for money and do not entitle you to any real-world prize.

8.3If a result was produced by a technical error, an exploit or a breach of Section 9, we may correct it or withdraw the related Award. We explain the correction, and you can contest it under Section 14.4.

8.4Special events with real prizes. We may occasionally run events with real-world prizes. Each such event will have its own Official Rules, published before the event, stating the organiser, eligibility, the free method of entry, how winners are determined by skill, the prizes and their value, and the countries where it is void. No purchase, including VIP, will ever be required to take part or increase your chance of winning. If the Official Rules conflict with these Terms, the Official Rules govern that event.

9.1You must not:

1. use bots, scripts, scrapers, automated requests or any tool that plays or reads the Game for you beyond normal browser use;
2. exploit bugs or design errors for advantage instead of reporting them to us;
3. operate more than one Account, or coordinate Accounts, including those of family members or friends, to transfer value between Clubs (for example through below-value transfers, fixed friendlies or deliberate losses);
4. buy, sell or trade Accounts, Clubs, players or In-Game Currency for anything of value (Section 7.3);
5. access or attempt to access other users' Accounts, our servers or data you are not authorised to see;
6. harass, threaten, impersonate or discriminate against other users, or post unlawful, hateful, sexual or infringing content;
7. use the Game to advertise or to spam.

9.2Detection. We monitor play for abuse, including shared IP addresses and unusual transfer patterns. Signals such as a shared network do not by themselves prove a breach; we look at the whole picture and let you explain before taking lasting measures, except where immediate action is needed to protect other users or the Game.

9.3Measures. Depending on seriousness and repetition, we may: warn you; reverse transactions, results or Awards; reset affected assets; restrict features; suspend your Account temporarily; or terminate it under Section 12. Measures are proportionate, and we give you a statement of reasons with the facts relied on and how to contest them (Section 14.4).

10.1The Game, its software, match engine, texts, images, player portraits, the Manual, the Gazzetta articles, the name and logo "Il Mister" belong to us or our licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use them only to play the Game. Players, clubs and competitions in the Game are fictional; any resemblance to real persons is coincidental.

10.2You keep your rights in your User Content. You grant us a free, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example resize or crop a crest), display and distribute it within the Game and in communications about it (such as league pages, match reports and press articles generated by the Game), for as long as it is in the Game and for a reasonable period afterwards in backups and in historical records such as past league tables.

10.3When you upload a crest or image, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it, and that it does not infringe trademarks (including real football clubs' crests), copyright or personality rights.

10.4Notice and action. Anyone may report content they consider illegal or contrary to these Terms by email at our support email, stating the location, the reason and their contact details. We process reports diligently and inform the reporter of our decision. Our point of contact for users and authorities under the Digital Services Act is our support email, in English or Romanian.

10.5Moderation. We may remove or restrict User Content that is illegal or breaches these Terms, rename a Club or player with an offensive name, or restore a removed crest to the default drawn crest. We use a combination of automated checks (for image format and size) and human review. When we act, we tell you what we did, why, and how to contest it.

11.1Legal guarantee. As a Consumer you benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity for digital services. We are responsible for any lack of conformity of the VIP features that appears during the period of your pass. If VIP does not work as described, you may ask us to bring it into conformity free of charge; if we cannot do so within a reasonable time, you may obtain a proportionate price reduction or end the contract and receive a refund for the affected period.

11.2Availability. We aim for the Game to be available at all times, but maintenance, updates and events outside our control can interrupt it. We announce planned maintenance in advance when possible. If an outage prevents VIP use for more than 48 consecutive hours, we extend affected VIP Passes by the lost time, without prejudice to Section 11.1.

11.3Match engine and chance. Match results include a deliberate element of chance, documented in the Manual. A result that follows the published rules is not a defect, even if it is disappointing.

11.4Our liability. We are liable without limitation for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud and for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and as mandatory law requires. Otherwise, for damage caused by slight negligence, we are liable only for breach of essential obligations of this contract and only for foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. We are not liable for loss of virtual items that have no monetary value, except within Sections 7.4 and 11.1.

11.5You are responsible for damage you cause us or other users by breaching these Terms.

12.1You may end this contract at any time by deleting your Account (Section 3.5).

12.2We may end this contract with 30 days' notice by email, for example if we close the Game. If we close the Game or end your contract without a breach on your part, we refund the unused part of every VIP Pass pro rata.

12.3We may terminate your Account with immediate effect for a serious or repeated breach of Section 9, after giving you a statement of reasons and, where the situation allows, the chance to respond.

12.4Refunds after termination. If we terminate for a breach, unused VIP time is refunded pro rata, except where termination is for cheating, fraud, chargeback abuse, real-money trading or account takeover. If a measure against you turns out to be unjustified, we restore your Account and extend or refund your VIP time.

13.1An evolving service. Il Mister is a live game in continuous development. Throughout the term of this contract, including during any VIP Pass you have bought, we may add new features, change existing features or withdraw features, both in the free Game and in VIP. We do so only for a valid reason, such as:

1. keeping competition fair and balanced (for example recalibrating the match engine, player development or the economy);
2. security, fraud prevention and the fight against cheating;
3. complying with the law, a court or authority decision, or the rules of our payment or hosting providers;
4. technical reasons, including performance, the end of support for a technology we depend on, or the replacement of a third-party service;
5. improving a feature, or replacing it with one that serves the same purpose;
6. withdrawing a feature that is rarely used or whose operating cost is disproportionate to its use.

Changes are always free of charge for you. We announce material changes in advance through in-game news and, where Section 13.3 applies, by email.

13.2Changes to the free Game. The free Game is provided without payment. Adding, changing or withdrawing features of the free Game does not give you a right to compensation or refund. You remain free to stop playing and to delete your Account at any time (Section 3.5). If a change to the free Game also affects a VIP feature, Section 13.3 applies to that effect.

13.3Changes to VIP. VIP Passes are a paid digital service. Changes to VIP features during a pass you have bought follow Article 19 of Directive (EU) 2019/770 on digital content and digital services, as transposed in Romania by Government Emergency Ordinance no. 141/2021:

1. we inform you by email, reasonably in advance and at least 30 days before the change takes effect, of the change, the date it takes effect and your rights under this Section;
2. if the change negatively affects your access to or use of VIP more than in a minor way (for example withdrawing a VIP feature without an equivalent replacement), you may terminate your VIP Pass free of charge within 30 days from the later of receiving our notice or the change taking effect;
3. on termination, we refund the price for the unused part of your pass, calculated pro rata by days, within 14 days, by the payment method you used, at no cost to you;
4. you have no termination right if the change is positive, neutral or only minor for you, or if we let you keep using the unchanged VIP feature, in conformity and at no extra cost, until your pass ends.

This right is separate from, and does not replace, your 14-day right of withdrawal in Section 6 and your legal guarantee in Section 11.1.

13.4Price changes. The price of a Club Pass or Legacy Pass already bought never changes. We may change the price of the Manager Subscription for future months only, for a valid reason (a change in VAT or other taxes, in payment or hosting costs, or in the scope of VIP). We tell you by email at least 30 days before the first renewal at the new price, stating the old and new price and the date. You may cancel before that renewal at no cost, in which case you are never charged the new price. New prices for new purchases apply from the date they are published.

13.5Changes to these Terms. We may amend these Terms for the valid reasons listed in Section 13.1 or to clarify them. We notify you by email and in the Game at least 30 days before the change takes effect and explain what changes. Changes never apply retroactively to VIP Passes already bought, unless they are in your favour. If a change to these Terms reduces your rights as a VIP buyer and you do not agree, you may terminate your VIP Pass before the change takes effect and receive a pro-rata refund of the unused time.

14.1Personal data. We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

14.2Governing law. These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a Consumer living in another EU Member State, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer rules of that State.

14.3Courts. A Consumer may bring proceedings in the courts of the place where they live or in Romania; we may sue a Consumer only in the courts of their place of residence.

14.4Complaints. Send complaints to our support email. We reply within 15 days. You may contest any moderation or fair-play decision about you within 6 months; the complaint is reviewed by a person other than the one who made the original decision.

14.5Alternative dispute resolution. If we cannot resolve a complaint, you may contact the Romanian National Authority for Consumer Protection (ANPC), Alternative Dispute Resolution Directorate (anpc.ro), or a consumer ADR body in your country listed on the European Commission's consumer redress page. We are not obliged to take part in ADR proceedings.

14.6Severability. If a provision of these Terms is invalid, the rest remains in force, and the invalid provision is replaced by the applicable statutory rule.
