The scout cycle
Each delivery brings one 15-year-old prospect, not all the players listed in the cycle at once. Every 1w means one prospect every week; every 2w means one every two weeks; every 3w means one every three weeks. Check Next prospect for your next delivery, which takes place on Thursday: selecting a plan does not immediately generate a player.
A cycle lists the base potential ratings guaranteed across successive deliveries, not current ratings or a fixed delivery order. Medium / 3w has a [6,6,7] cycle: two base-6 prospects and one base-7 prospect, delivered one at a time, three weeks apart. Their order can be 6 → 6 → 7, 6 → 7 → 6 or 7 → 6 → 6. The stronger result still owed does not disappear after a weaker result, and the cycle continues across seasons. Constitution can raise a prospect’s displayed natural potential rating by one band above the cycle’s base rating.
The prospect card separates current role rating from natural potential rating on the same 1–9 scale. Skill ceilings are revealed progressively: before 21, a value marked ≥ is only the minimum ceiling known today, not a claim that the hidden natural ceiling equals the current skill.
New prospects have current skills that follow their positional strengths, supporting skills and weaknesses, with individual variation. They start with visible room below the revealed ceilings; a skill at the bottom of the scale may still show 1/1. A larger natural talent does not make a young full-back start with weaker defensive fundamentals.
The amount of potential already revealed at recruitment depends on the development profile. Each player keeps that reveal curve: ceilings continue to unfold with age and are fully known at 21. The current-to-potential gap is not identical across skills or positions, and the two training slots still require choices.
Published rating bags by interval
The fee per prospect is Base ×1 Low, ×2 Medium or ×4 High. Choose the fee tier and delivery interval together: High names the fee tier, while the combination determines the cycle and how often you receive a prospect.
Low — every 1 / 2 / 3 weeks
Rating bags [3,4] / [4] / [4,4,5].
Medium — every 1 / 2 / 3 weeks
Rating bags [5] / [5,6,6] / [6,6,7].
High — every 1 / 2 / 3 weeks
Rating bags [5,6,6] / [6,7,7] / [6,7,8].
- High unlocks after two completed club seasons.
Payment and delivery
The fee is charged when the prospect is generated. If available funds are short, delivery becomes Unfunded and retries on a later Thursday.
More prospects sooner, or fewer with higher potential?
High / 1w delivers one prospect each week. Its [5,6,6] cycle gives three prospects over three weekly deliveries, in shuffled order. It suits a manager who wants to build a youth squad quickly and can pay for frequent scouting, then train and pay wages for the prospects accepted.
Medium / 3w delivers one prospect every three weeks. Its [6,6,7] cycle gives three prospects over nine weeks of regular deliveries. Compared with High / 1w, you receive fewer prospects, with higher guaranteed base potential across the cycle, and spend less on scouting.
For example, with a base fee of $63,000, High / 1w costs $252,000 per prospect: three funded weekly deliveries cost $756,000. Medium / 3w costs $126,000 per prospect: one funded delivery every three weeks. These are scouting fees only; accepted players also earn wages. The example assumes regular funded deliveries under the active plan.
Focus shapes, not upgrades
Focus never changes the guaranteed rating. Position and country are drawn separately from the frozen quality profile, so a focus cannot reroll a disappointing prospect into a stronger one.

Season-locked youth eligibility
Accepted players enter the youth squad, train and earn wages. There is no optional mid-season promotion: the youth squad a player belongs to remains his match squad for the rest of that season.
Turning 21 during a season does not remove youth eligibility. He completes that youth season even if the accelerated calendar takes him past age 22. At the season transition, every youth player aged 21 or older moves automatically to the senior squad; younger players remain youth for the next season.
Manage accepted youth players, their training and the youth lineup from the Locker Room. The Academy page is reserved for scouting plans, focus and the current prospect decision.
