Friendlies and quick matches
Challenge another manager or test a plan without confusing the result with league evidence.
Manager challenges
A managed club can send or receive a friendly challenge. The target, proposed slot and status are stored; the receiving manager can accept or decline. Once accepted, the fixture runs from each saved plan without either manager being online.
Challenge states
Pending
Awaiting the challenged manager’s decision.
Accepted
Creates the scheduled friendly fixture.
Declined / expired
No fixture is created and no match plan runs.
Quick matches
Quick matches use an eligible bot opponent and a short fixed kickoff window. The bot cannot decline. Availability allows one active quick match at a time and five per day before the fixture is created.
- They do not award official competition points or honours.
- Friendlies and quick matches do not force extra time or shootouts.
- They do not create match injuries or ordinary official-match experience.
Use them as experiments
A one-off match can test whether an instruction appears where you expect it. Treat balance conclusions more carefully: opponent quality, role fit and match variation still apply, and official competition consequences are deliberately different.
